When to Call 111
If your child is in immediate physical danger, or you believe they are at risk of self-harm and are unresponsive, call 111 immediately. WhānauGuard is not an emergency service — it's a tool to help you stay informed and act early.
Before You Call
Gather key information to share with emergency services:
- Your child's name, age, and description
- Last known location (WhānauGuard's map can help)
- Any messages or interactions that raised concern
- Your child's medical information (available in WhānauGuard's emergency profile)
- Phone number and device information
